"One thing is for certain: the more profoundly baffled you have been in your life, the more open your mind becomes to new ideas."
~ Neil deGrasse Tyson

I am very excited I am to welcome the class of 2022 to Washington as they start high school!  I look forward to seeing each student find new friends, activities and mentors to help them with this transition.

High School offers many opportunities for academic and personal growth.  Four years may seem like a long time but it will pass quickly.  Take advantage of each opportunity you have to learn something new.  Additionally, make sure you meet new people, join clubs, or try out for a sport.  These are years for trying things you have never tried before.  Lastly, I would like to remind each of you to keep up with all of your academic endeavors, perform service learning hours, and to make responsible and ethical choices.

I entered the field of education with the goal of helping students achieve at their maximum level.  My commitment to that goal is stronger today than ever before.  Please do not hesitate to contact me if there is anything I can do for you.
