2021 Winter Season Update

Interested in participating on a winter sports team (boys/girls basketball, boys/girls soccer, wrestling)? First day of try outs will take place on Monday, Nov 1st.

Athletes must have all paperwork submitted to the Athletic Director (Ms. Quezada) in order to be cleared to try out for any sport. Paperwork could be found on the left-hand navigation under "Athletic Participation Forms".

Collection dates and times for paperwork are: Mon 10/18 and Tues 10/19 in the Main Gym Lobby @ 3:45-6pm. Tues, 10/26, Wed, 10/27, and Thurs, 10/28 in the Main Gym Lobby @ 3:45-6pm.

2021 Winter Season Team Tryout Information

Boys Basketball - Main Gym - Varsity at 6-7:30p on 11/1, 11/2, & 11/3.  JV/Frosh-Soph at 7:30-9p on 11/1, 11/2, 11/3.

Girls Basketball - Main Gym at 4-6pm on 11/1, 11/2, 11/3.

Girls Soccer - Field by Tak/JV Softball Field at 4-5:30p on 11/1, 11/2, 11/3

Wrestling - Aux Gym at 3:45-6:30p from 11/1 - 11/11.

2021 October Open Gym/Open Fields/Conditioning

Interested in getting back into shape open gyms and open fields are currently being held at WHS all are welcome. Find sports, times, and locations below. All participants must wear a mask while on FUDS campuses and continue to social distance.

Baseball: Tues, 3-5:30 and Thurs 4-5:30 @ the baseball field.

Boys Basketball: Mondays 6:30-8:30p and Thurs 10/7 @ 6-8pm, and Tues 10/26 @ 6:30-8:30pm in the main gym.

Girls Basketball: Wednesday 6:30-8:30pm in the main gym; Thurs, 10/7 @ 4-6pm and Thurs, 10/28 @ 6:30-8:30pm; Saturdays @ 8-10am in the main gym.

Badminton: Fridays, 10/1 & 10/29 @ 6:30-8:30pm and Saturdays @ 3-5pm.

Girls Soccer: Weight Room conditioning Tues and Thurs @ 4:30-5:30pm.

College Recruitment Information

Fremont Unified School District is proud to announce that we will host NFL veteran Julian Jenkins from Next College Student Athlete (NCSA) for his presentation: “College Recruiting Simplified.” The event is on Monday, October 2nd at 6:30pm in the Valhalla Theater at Irvington High School. The seminar is free to all students and their families. Click here for flyer

Jenkins will guide parents and student-athletes through the importance of establishing athletic and academic goals, setting realistic expectations and seeking opportunities at all college and division levels.
